This ensures support is accurately targeted from the outset and avoids a one-size-fits-all approach.Each session focuses on strengthening key reading skills through carefully structured, achievable steps that build both confidence and competence. Session length is adapted to suit the child: younger learners may benefit from shorter sessions, while older children often sustain longer ones. Decisions are always guided by attention, confidence, and individual needs, including SEN considerations.Sessions are delivered primarily on a one-to-one basis, allowing teaching to be fully personalised and progress to be closely supported.
